We are looking for a motivated and sustainability driven Shipping and Receiving Scheduler to join our team. In this essential operations role, you will coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities to ensure materials move safely, efficiently, and responsibly throughout our facility, supporting both production needs and our broader environmental and circular economy mission.

Job Purpose
To coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities by scheduling inbound and outbound shipments, tracking deliveries, communicating with carriers, auditing freight invoices, and supporting operational flow, all while maintaining safety, accuracy, and alignment with sustainability and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Work safely with a safety first mindset, following all procedures and attending monthly safety meetings
• Collaborate with Logistics, Receiving, Shipping, Security, Sales, and Plant Operations to optimize shipment flow
• Maintain ownership of the Shipping and Receiving calendar
• Schedule inbound delivery appointments with brokers and carriers
• Book outbound shipments to maximize efficiency, reduce delays, and minimize cost
• Build strong operational relationships with freight brokers and carriers
• Proactively track shipments and communicate any changes or delays
• Create Shipment ID numbers in Microsoft NAV with complete and accurate details
• Audit and approve freight invoices
• Complete work assignments in alignment with operational standards and deadlines
• Communicate clearly with Supervisor, team members, and internal stakeholders
• Participate in logistics related projects as needed
• Provide occasional emergency logistics support from home, up to 7 PM on weekdays, as needed
• Follow all company values, certifications, and procedures
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Provide backup support for other Logistics team members as needed

Education and Work Experience Requirements
• Two years of logistics or transportation operations experience preferred
• Working knowledge of truckload, less than truckload, and import or export containerized freight
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• High energy, self starter with strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
• Comfortable with menu driven systems
• Ability and desire to identify and implement more efficient processes

Compliance Requirements
Employment in this position requires compliance with NAID standards and ITAR requirements. Candidates must meet all applicable compliance criteria to be eligible for employment.

Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
• Occasional requirement to wear personal protective equipment when entering plant or warehouse areas
• Must follow all facility safety procedures

Schedule
Shift: Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM
Location: Onsite only, collaboration and safety thrive in person
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible

Benefits

401(k) with company match after 6 months:
• Dollar for dollar match up to 3 percent
• Fifty cents on the dollar for the next 2 percent

80 vacation hours and up to 56 SPL hours in the first year.
