At Sibanye-Stillwater, every role supports our mission to operate safely, responsibly, and sustainably. We are seeking a Business Intelligence Lead to build and lead the analytics function supporting our Recycling operations across regional sites and enterprise leadership teams.

This foundational and strategic role will serve as both architect and advisor, responsible for developing scalable reporting systems, strengthening data governance, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. Reporting to the SVP, Enterprise Operations, this position will help establish the long -term analytics framework supporting operational performance, strategic planning, and enterprise alignment across the Recycling platform.

Job Purpose

To build and lead the business intelligence function for Recycling operations through the development of scalable reporting systems, analytics architecture, data governance standards, and enterprise-aligned performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead the business intelligence and analytics capability for the Recycling operation
• Establish data governance standards, reporting structures, analytics architecture, and KPI alignment across the business
• Design and implement dashboards, analytics tools, and reporting platforms supporting operational, financial, and strategic decision making
• Translate Group reporting requirements into scalable regional and site level reporting solutions
• Ensure alignment across Recycling operations, enterprise leadership teams, and Group reporting standards
• Develop repeatable and reliable reporting structures supporting operational and strategic planning needs
• Partner with operational, financial, commercial, and functional leaders to identify reporting needs and deliver actionable insights
• Ensure consistency, integrity, and accessibility of enterprise data across all levels of the organization
• Support and strengthen organizational data literacy through training and collaboration
• Work closely with Group BI and Technology teams to ensure alignment with enterprise systems and standards
• Develop and execute a multi year roadmap for analytics maturity and capability growth
• Support future team development and help build a scalable BI organization as operational needs expand

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in business intelligence, analytics strategy, enterprise reporting, and data modeling
• Strong technical proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar analytics platforms
• Experience building or scaling analytics capabilities within complex, multi-site, industrial, manufacturing, or global organizations
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
• Ability to operate effectively within a matrixed organization supporting Group, regional, and site leadership teams
• Comfortable operating in a highly hands on environment while building long term structure and capability
