Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Reduction Manager to lead mechanical processing operations within our precious metals refining facility. This role partners closely with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable mechanical processing of materials while strengthening operational performance in a dynamic plant environment.

What You Will Do
• Lead daily mechanical reduction operations including material preparation and processing
• Supervise production teams while promoting safe operating practices
• Monitor equipment performance, throughput, and operational efficiency
• Coordinate maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment reliability improvements
• Identify opportunities to improve mechanical processing efficiency and production flow
• Maintain production documentation, operational records, and performance metrics
• Partner with maintenance, safety, and environmental teams to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Support training and development of operators and supervisors
• Evaluate equipment and processes to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to support operational goals and plant performance
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• Five or more years of experience in mechanical processing, metals recycling, manufacturing, or similar industrial environments
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in production operations
• Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment, material handling systems, and industrial processes
• Experience improving operational performance and equipment reliability
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a plant environment
