Job Purpose

To operate and monitor milling and sifting equipment used in the fine metal refining process, ensuring materials are reduced, sorted, and processed according to quality and safety standards that support Sibanye-Stillwater Reldan’s global recycling mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate ball milling and sifting machinery to reduce and refine processed materials.

  • Identify, sort, and process metals according to type and job instructions.

  • Maintain consistent operation of equipment in a hot and noisy industrial environment.

  • Perform cleaning, descaling, and basic maintenance of equipment as needed.

  • Record data accurately and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

  • Follow ISO 9001 quality standards and all company safety procedures.

Education and Work Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Previous experience in milling, construction, cement mixing, ceramics, pharmaceuticals, or recycling preferred.

  • Strong math, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

  • Excellent attention to detail and time management.

Physical and Safety Requirements

  • Must have reliable, independent transportation (remote location with no public transit).

  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials regularly.

  • Comfortable working on your feet in a hot, industrial environment.

  • Must be able to wear full PPE, including a Tyvek suit, hearing protection, and supplied air respirator (fit test required).

  • Must comply with all corporate health and safety standards.

Compliance Requirements

Employment in this position requires compliance with NAID (National Association for Information Destruction) standards and ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) requirements. Candidates must meet all applicable compliance criteria to be eligible for employment.

Schedule

Shift: Monday–Friday, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
Location: Fairless Hills, PA — onsite only (no remote or hybrid options).
